Tri-County Conference Basketball Standings (as of 2/11/2019)

We are entering of the regular season for the Class 3 schools in the conference. Osage and Boonville will finish up their regular season next week playing against each other.

On the Boys side, Blair Oaks still has a one game lead over Southern Boone, California, and Boonville who all have one loss in conference. Blair Oaks and California face off tomorrow (2/12) to see if Blair Oaks can win the conference outright or if there is a chance for a tie. Boonville will face California and Southern Boone on back to back nights (2/14 & 2/15) that will either give them a shot at or at the very least will help decide 2nd and 3rd place.

The Southern Boone Boys start the week with a non-conference game against Centralia. Centralia has been ranked off an on in Class 3 this year and gave the Eagles one of their two losses in the Semi-Finals of the California Tournament. The Eagles will then end the regular season with a game at home against Boonville (2/15).

On the GIrls side, Boonville is in the drivers seat. The Lady Pirates beat California this weekend to give them an edge but Osage is still undefeated and laying in wait in the last game of the regular season. If Osage beats Boonville (2/18) and California can beat Osage (2/11) there could still be a three-way tie for the conference title.

The Southern Boone Girls have two non-conference games to start off the week. At home against Helias (2/11) and Centralia (2/12) before finishing the regular season against Boonville who is currently #3 in Class 4 of the MBCA polls.
